Peru: Juliaca Airport Resumes Operations

We are happy to announce that the Juliaca Airport has officially resumed its operations, facilitating travel to/from Puno in Southern Peru. The airport had been closed since April 29th due to works on the landing strip which have now finished, making the airport fully operative once again.

Peru Takes off Face Shields on Trains

If you are currently planning a visit to the Land of the Incas, then you are going to love this news: as of mid March, the Peruvian train network and airlines flying domestic flights are introducing more flexible requirements, thus making it easier for travelers to enjoy a more comfortable experience. Now:

• Guests are no longer required to wear face shields while on trains to Machu Picchu.
• The use of a double mask or a KN95 mask is required to enter the transport system or travel on trains.
• Guests are no longer required to have a booster dose to board domestic flights.
